IPS was formed in 2008, initially, to provide a Professional Project Delivery Service, to the Fire and Security Sector of the Construction Industry.

It has long been recognised that whilst the key fire and security system providers are equipped to design and install high quality systems, they do not always meet the expectations of their clients or indeed the construction industry, especially in regard to Contract Management, Project Management, record keeping and documentation.

This is because the UK Fire and Security Industry primarily operates in the residential and small commercial sectors, in real terms major contracts (generally in excess of £50-100K GBP) form a relatively small percentage of the UK Fire and Security Sector volume for the major suppliers, therefore whilst they are active in seeking orders in this arena, they can fall short in meeting their client's requirements in the delivery phase, being restricted by the resource costs allocated (in order to remain competitive) within the bid price for the project. This is of course driven by the cost conscious rather than delivery conscious approach adopted by Main and M&E contractors in awarding contracts.

IPS offer a dedicated Project Delivery Service to these specialist organisations allowing them to perform to the contracting requirements expected in the UK construction Market based, on a pre agreed and known cost.

Since September 2009 IPS has diversified to incorporate the commercial marketplace, now providing service offerings to the commercial and landlord sectors, extending previous experience gained to organisations dealing with fit out and dilapidation projects.
